Adriaan Holsappel (1975) is an visual artist based in the Netherlands.  From 1994 to 2016 he has worked as a graphic designer.

The photographs he makes arose from his feelings and show what intrigues him. His projects and compositions come from his graphic and emotional background. He wants to raise a question or bring out a story with his photos. Let your imagination speak.

In 1991 and 1993 he studied graphic design in Almelo. Where photography was in the curriculum. His work has been exhibited in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and England.

Adriaan won several photography contests.

Since the mood changed in the Netherlands at the end of 2023 and his experience with the Radboud Artist Intervention Study about how dopamine affects his creativity, Holsappel has been creating more black and white expressive work.
